Hado Ginsan Gyuto 240mm Sakura / Cherry Handle Forged by Mr. Yamatsuka

Forged by master craftsman Mr Yamatsuka and hand ground by expert sharpener Tadataka Maruyama, this series has a stepped grind to facilitate easy thinning with Machi on the handle in case you wish to remove it during polishing. The blade has a beautiful damascus construction utilising stainless Ginsan steel, the minimal alloying of this stainless paired with Mr Yamatsuka’s expert heat-treatment ensures a smooth and long-lasting edge that is a joy to resharpen. The handle is made from luxurious Japanese cherry wood.
